Supreme Court Justice nominee Neil Gorsuch is a Colorado native and the son of a Republican politician, the late Anne Gorsuch Burford, who was a state legislator and then director of the Environmental Protection Agency for President Reagan. Gorsuch attended Columbia University and Harvard Law School, after which he clerked for D.C. Circuit Court judge David Sentelle.
Gorsuch then clerked for Supreme Court justices Byron White and Anthony Kennedy in 199394. The next year he studied for a doctorate of philosophy at Oxford University under the legal philosopher John Finnis.
After spending ten years at a law firm in Washington, D.C., Gorsuch went to work for the Justice Department in 200506. President George W. Bush nominated him to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, which covers Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming, and New Mexico. His confirmation was quick and uncontroversial.

Ping...
I hope this will be him and President Trump isn’t fanning the media ...
What are his textualist and originalist credentials?
what is his church/ religious background?
Thanks. Odds are it’s Gorsuch.
Regardless....POTUS Trump will likely have an opportunity to name others who made his final cut, over the next several years.
Go Trump!!
Love. This. Winning.
Excellent choice. He will be confirmed, even if the “nuclear option” must be used.
Yep, it’s him.
Smiles here.
He was previously approved unanimously by the Senate. No way Dems can even play games. They'll look like fools.
He’s the pick.
I swam on the same swim team as his mom and aunties

Live stream of appointment at White House.
I believe I saw tears in the eyes of Neil and his wife.
Only 49 years old, he hopefully will be around a long time.
Looking like fools has been the Dems stock-in-trade lately.
Smart move to point out the unanimous confirmation vote to the 10th Circuit.
The thread posted after Trump officially announced it was pulled - saying it was too soon and we needed to wait, after Trump had finished speaking and the nominee had begun giving his own speech.
Don’t bet on it. They’ll be portraying him as a closet Nazi by tomorrow.
Episcopalian. It would probably actually be better if he didn’t go to church, though.
When TRump was introducing him didn’t he say ...Gorsuch of the US Supreme Court to the US Supreme Court ? He is a US Appeals Court judge .
