Apparently the Supreme Court pick will come from President Trump’s list, and Ted is unfortunately not on the list (I think because Ted was still running for President when the list was initially released).
I hope Ted becomes the second pick.
No, at least not yet. Sen Cruz needs a bit of 'seasoning' before he goes up in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee that hates him --Both Republicans and Democrats. He didn't make many friends in the Senate.
Where he would be the most valuable and might even get more public exposure would be as Trump's Solicitor General.
C'mon, admit it. There is probably NOBODY in Washington better at presenting a case in front of a Federal Judge --or Judges-- than Ted Cruz.
i don't even think that Robert Bork was that good when he was Nixon's Solicitor General.
Maybe President Pence can nominate him after some bad feeling has passed.
