Hollywood gave itself some more awards last night, because if there’s anything America needs, it’s another awards show. And as Scott Greer reports, one of the “winners” used his acceptance speech to send out an open call for political violence:
Attendees at Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards gave an uproarious standing ovation to “Stranger Things” star David Harbour’s call to punch unnamed people who oppress “the weak and the disenfranchised…”
“We will hunt monsters and when we are at a loss amidst the hypocrisy and the casual violence of certain individuals and institutions, we will, as per Chief Jim Hopper [Harbour’s character on the show], punch some people in the face when they seek to destroy the weak and the disenfranchised and the marginalized.”
And everybody stood and cheered.
This sounds familiar to me, because I saw Harbour tweet the same thing last week:

The left now commonly believes the violent oppression is their right.

In Hollywood you have actors pretending to be other people (who often don’t exist). It’s all an illusion of worlds that don’t exist.
In President Trump, we have a new leader who lives in the “REAL WORLD”, not the made-up one of Hollyweird.
We need to wish him well in bringing back America to sanity, and we hope his advisors and leaders do the right thing.
Where are McConnell and Ryan on these things?

Even if you hate singing and dancing, Cabaret is worth watching for the other stuff.
Today reminds me of much later in the movie, though. Right where it started getting really ugly.

Actually I think it would be better for anyone who sees him and decides they hate him to beat the crap out of him since that’s okay by his standards.
