In 2014 two French Canadian muslims killed two Canadian soldiers in separate attacks. I suspect both had Québécois accents. At that time the Canadian media did all they could to downplay the muslim angle, emphasizing alleged mental illness and lone wolfism. Now they immediately tie this to “islamophobia” with no proof. There's actually something to be said for this.
An old acquaintance of mine with a long history in law enforcement once told me that Islamic terrorists like the 9/11 hijackers have a psychological profile that is very similar to American-born mutants like the school shooters at Columbine and Sandy Hook.
