Unlike many others who have responded to your post I agree with your analysis of the situation.
Those criticisizing what you wrote should quit being blinded by all things Trump and look at this objectively. People who had already been “vetted”, “extremely”, by having green cards already were detained and or denied entry. It’s as you said, a blunder of implementation. Anyone with a brain can see people from the countries in question should be denied entry. But anyone also with an intellect can and should know those with green cards have already been screened and “vetted”.
Any who believe a green card is something easily obtained, like some stamp on a passport during travel are ignorant of all the hoops and regulations one must jump through and meet to get one in addition to literally thousands of dollars spent. The point is these are not people who are terrorists or sympathetic to same. They have made a significant investment in getting the green card.
The administration has already as much as admitted this mistake already by saying going forward green card holders will be admitted. Anyone who disagrees with this is already disagreeing with the very administration they are trying to support.
To all: quit thinking Trump and his administration can do no wrong. It only makes him look bad in the end if he and his supporters can’t own up to mistakes. Flame away if you must remain in your willfully ignorant obstinacy.
That will result in a not so surprising minimum 4 to 7 point upward “Bump” in President Trump’s Approval Rating!
Why is it flawed?
Because the main things a company wants to experience are growth and profit.
***********************************************************
Well, America achieving growth is a no brainer and surely you would not argue about that.
The “profit” comes in the form of better and more jobs, lower taxes and people feeling more secure because of proper enforcement of the laws.
The very best way to run this or any other nation is with the idea all the money available belongs to the share holders, in this case the citizens and like a board of directors the elected officials should be held strictly accountable to the citizens (shareholders).
In any case no one can make the argument that the way we are doing it now is clearly NOT working.
Hell yeah. I want the government slashed to the bone...And don't call me Shirley.
The profit comes in the form of better and more jobs, lower taxes and people feeling more secure because of proper enforcement of the laws.
No, the "profit" comes in the form of bogus "bailouts" which are actually massive money laundering operations sending billions in taxpayer money to RAT contributors or RAT campaign coffers. And ridiculously high salaries to RAT political hacks in government "employment" positions.
Government (the public sector) preys on the private sector and you are conflating the two.
The best thing government can do is get the hell out of the way....something the President is doing as we speak (see: EPA)
“No, the “profit” comes in the form of bogus “bailouts” which are actually massive money laundering operations sending billions in taxpayer money to RAT contributors or RAT campaign coffers.”
Sure, now the “profit” is what you describe. I was speaking too how it should be. I agree with smaller government and getting out of the way of business. That is not at all inconsistent with what I have said.
Shirley you can see that? :-)
The people who, in the TSA, decided to hold green-card holders and citizens to prove a point, should be taken out and publicly fired for gross incompetence.
The rest of it, the protesters should be removed forcibly from the airports as they are hindering transportation and lawful commerce.
“So far, its not going well,” after ten days, heh n heh, Obama had eight years.
Ah, NO....”They should not have done this with people already in planes on thier way here,” and pray tell WHEN would that situation not be the CASE? SHEESH...
You were doing, fair, until you resorted to Ad hominem attack “willfully ignorant obstinacy.”! People who had already been vetted, extremely, by having green cards UNDER THE OBAMA ADMIN! HAHAHAHA
Under the Obama Administration or not, it was and still is a lengthy detailed process to get a green card. I know what I’m talking about my wife got one before she became a citizen. It is literally more difficult to get the green card than become a citizen. And this was all under Obama.
If you disagree you simply don’t know what you’re talking about.
A Disastrous Day for Trump & a great day for all deplorables, everywhere.
