Finally, some common sense from the Commonwealth.
Australia is a fecking ISLAND! Granted, an Island on Steroids, but still!
They need to guard every bloody INCH of it!
IMO,one need only study the life of Mark Zuckerberg to understand the "dilemma".A firm,and vocal, supporter of "borders are racist" his darker skinned neighbors in Hawaii are,at this very moment,seeing another side of him...a strong supporter of walls,doors and locks for his $500 million estate....as evidenced by numerous court filings made by his army of lawyers.

Australia had VERY strict immigration policies from what I remember in the ‘90s.
Seems like Australia is getting Islamized. When we were there for three weeks in 2013 whole towns north of Sydney are Muslim majorities. It may be too late for them.
My ship was there in ‘96. I loved it.

There are parts of Australia that have become a Jihadist paradise..my good friend is from Perth..she said if you go to Melbourne and Sydney..you see Muslims all the time screaming Death to Jews..a few years back a Muslim tried ramming a school bus filled with Jewish children off the road..I think Australia realizes they have a huge problem so Im glad to see they are on Trump’s side here
I've visited Australia several times as a tourist with no problem at all.I loved it so much that I decided to explore the possibility of living there.Turns out that because 1) I didn't have a skill that was in high demand in the country and 2) that I was well into my fifties at the time I didn't have a prayer of getting in.
I understand that decision.Admitting me might deny a native born Aussie a job *and* given that I was much closer to the grave than to the cradle I very well might place a burden on the country's health system and in other ways as well.
I live in Melbourne. I have never seen a Muslim here screaming anything at anybody.
There are certainly some problematic Islamists around - periodically people have been arrested for various plots, and there have been a few incidents where attacks have occurred, but I find the idea that any part of Australia is some sort of ‘Jihadist paradise’ laughable.
We have to say thank you to Australians. Some sanity at least from an American ally.
I believe Australia is the only nation that has supported the USA in ever one of our wars.
Steve Wozniak paid Five million for citizenship in Australia a year or so ago. Here we pay them to come.......oh well.
