The Washington Post said Saturday that Bannon will have a seat on the Council’s principals committee.

It’s other members are the most senior national security officials, including the secretaries of state and defense. Bannon is former chairman of the conservative Web site Breitbart.

Well, the Left will certainly wet their pants over this one…which doesn’t matter a bit to Pres. Trump, may God bless him.

This sounded like an unusual move to me but, so far, the enimedia is not making a fuss about it. I thought they’d all be up in arms because Bannon essentially declared war on them.

One of the talking idiots (Rattitz?) tried to bring it up and was reminded that Bannon served as a Navy officer, so having him there to work with President Trump to analyze information makes sense.

It's really amusing when Radditz, Todd and a few of the others who don't let inconvenient facts get in the way are put in their place.

The eneMedia is too busy to react, it is dealing with the protests at the airport while Trump quietly does what he wants to do.

It’s a magic trick,watch what’s in my hand......

The Obama White House was filled with totally unqualified people. And there was never a peep about it from the media.

Why doesn’t Breitbart merge with OANN and become a live, streaming news channel? They don’t need to be a cable channel or part of DirecTV. Just charge $9.99/month to be a 24-hour news channel and they will bury the other shows.

It’s only been a week (9 days) and I know at some time POTUS is going to aggravate all of us...but this has been fun!

I’m not comfortable with the idea of inserting a political strategist into the realm of national security decision making. Had Obama done something like this I think many of us would have expressed concern about ideological issues influencing a sober analysis of foreign threats and developing practical strategies for countering them.

Bannon should be “in the loop” of course, but best to insulate the national security decision making process from political influences in my humble opinion. We need clear, objective thinking uninhibited by politics.

If you haven’t noticed our greatest national security threat is the left and their terrorist buddies. It’s a good move.

Thank you for the “thoughtful and insightful” reply.

I was in the Navy too and earned the right to comment on such matters. I will not shut up on your account.

Screw sober analysis of ‘foreign threats’. THEY need to be feeling the ones threatened from here on out, and analyzing how to avoid pissing US off.

Really? Now that’s a big surprise. /sarc

My comment wasn’t addressing the nature of the threats; just saying that we need a national security apparatus free from political influences. We had enough of that for the last eight years under Obama.

I disagree. The day of being free of political influences is over. The left made politics personal and deadly. We either fight fire with fire or watch our children being rounded up for orderly disposal by the New Bolsheviks.
