A federal judge has blocked an executive order issued by Donald Trump which banned citizens of seven majority Muslim countries from entering the United States. Trumps order banned all citizens of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the country.
The suit was filed by the ACLU on behalf of several individuals from banned countries being detained at U.S. airports.
The temporary restraining order will allow citizens of these countries, including those being held at U.S. airports, to enter the country.

not a Muslim ban.. fake news keeps on faking
Time to end the judiciary being a life time post. This is so wrong. By what authority did this judge act? It is well within the Executive powers of office to enact such a ban. Obama did it.
The judicial branch needs to be smacked down when it comes to legislating from the bench.
And it will be quickly overturned.
It’s a stay of President Trump’s EO. Title is crap but fact is a federal judge is now up against the President.
Libs are yelling on television. I’m not worried about this.
Trump will take care of this. ACLU if freaking out.
What’s not to love.
How many divisions does the judge have?
Completely worthless and Trump should absolutely ignore it and dare the judge to try to enforce it.
I am so very happy that Trump will be appointing judges for 8 years, including filling such a large number of vacancies left open by Obama
The courts stay is temporary and only affects people currently detained and those in transit.
There is NO "ban" on Muslims; there is a ban on people people, ALL PEOPLE, from various nations, all of which promote TERRORISM.
It is within the purview of every president to do this. Hell, even Obama did this and there wasn't a whisper; let alone a frivolous lawsuit.
Overturn it immediately. Such garbage.
Also...you want to let islamists in. Let them live in your damn house!
Yeah and it’s only going against President Trump’s EO.
How does your honor think that the judiciary can act upon an executive EO? Do they have constitutional authority to do this or can the executive tell them to pound sand?
Aclu says 100to 200 people are effected.
I would not be upset if this guy were a victim of an uncomfortable act by an “undocumented immigrant.”
The president absolutely has the authority to ban any person or class of persons he deems to be detrimental to the US.
