Well, I’m glad you’re there. They don’t need to be thrown to the coyotes, which is sort of what it amounts to if they are abandoned.

They might notice their momma being friendly and it will help calm them down. Or does that even work with kittehs? LOL!

They’re lucky the coyotes haven’t gotten them yet, or that they haven’t been run over. They’ve been outside all along.

Arabella only came up to me after seeing their momma getting loving. The other two moved closer but never let me pet them.

We’ve had some ferals show up over the years and it took them seeing our other cats running up to me and getting loving to get the ferals to get braver. Once they finally let me pet them, the tamed quickly.

So yes, it works. Most likely the two really timid kittens are tame but they just didn’t know me. They’ll calm down soon enough. Just takes a little time and TLC.

Well, you have all the TLC in the world for kitties. :) I’m just glad you have plenty of room for all of them! Your cat food bill must rival the national debt!

BTW...how is your little girl that was having breathing problems?

Add the cat litter bill to it and yep! LOL!

Jade's doing better but still has some stuffy-head moments. It's like that all the time but she does have her bad spells. Antibiotics have knocked this recent one back for now.

Oh, yeah...forgot to add in that little item! LOL!

I’m glad Jade’s better. Is this a chronic thing for her? Is she allergic to cat hair? JK....

Yep, that’s an important part of the shopping list. LOL

Yes, this is a chronic problem for Jade. She’s had it her whole life but it’s gotten a little worse as she’s gotten older. She seems to be allergic to whatever we are since she gets fired up when our sinuses do. The salt in the air from the brine they put on the highway a couple of weeks ago fired us all up. They put WAY too much down and we got no snow to melt and wash it away. Cars driving over it kicked the salt dust into the air and it was horrible. And it was difficult to calm Jade’s sinuses down but she’s doing much better now.

The highway was clean this afternoon when I was out and we hope they haven’t put down more brine tonight. It doesn’t look like we’ll get much snow and we don’t want the air full of that stuff again!

They could use sand for virtually the same effect and it wouldn’t be so bad on everyone’s sinuses...not to mention how it can mess up the bottom of a car! I hope you don’t get snow. Our little bit was melted by this morning.

Sand doesn’t melt snow and ice as it falls as far as I know. They put brine down to do just that. But eventually the roads freeze over and they’re a glaze of ice.

Sand works up north but after the snow falls. Gives traction.

It all depends on when the wet stuff gets here. It’s moving into west TN now and if it gets here late enough, our temps will be above freezing and we’ll just get rain. Even if it gets here early and we get snow, it won’t be much and it’ll melt by noon.

Guess I’d better say goodnight. Tomorrow is worship and you know how I feel about dozing off and bumping my head on the pew. LOL!

See y’all tomorrow!

Good morning, E...((HUGS))...a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

Were you and Bo able to go “hunting” yesterday? We had more snow, about 5” worth. The folks that plow my driveway have no place to put any more snow...they have pushed just about all the snow they can up in the yard. Monday I will have to see about having some hauled away.

You boys have a wonderful Sunday.

There are a few small spots of snow showing on the radar but nothing close to us. The temp is enough above freezing, we shouldn’t get any. If some does spit down, it won’t stick.

It never did sound like too much of a threat in the forecasts but it was still frustrating that they kept changing it from one time of day to the next. No one’s known what to expect. At least it didn’t end up being worse than they were predicting. That’s happened plenty of times over the years and caught people off guard.

Glad y’all DID get some snow to cover the icy roads.
