Nice post. Very informative. Freepers need to understand that the Kurds are our friends and the Turks, at least under their current administration, are not.

I expect Mr. Erdogan will soon receive a less than friendly call from our new President who will lay out some new rules of engagement in Syria.

The best possible solution is Erdogan forced back into line, Russia & US destroy the ISIS and al Qaeda in N. Syria and leave the Kurds alone.

We live our lives, everyone begins to rebuild and coexist.

Do I think that will happen?

Doubt it.

I like the Kurds very much. Have a friend from the web that I’ve been exchanging information from and to since the Siege of Kobani.

It is incredible to me they are looked upon by Arabs and others in the area for leadership. It’s because they trust them when it is clear nobody else is into anything but brutality and conquest.

They’re builders of local groups. Paste together the remnants after the ISIS butchers did their damage.

You must respect them for that. And they stay in the shadows to prevent outsiders disturbing the cooperation.
