Great article
Very sad
Thank you
What about the child who is unwanted? It was a basic premise of early feminism that women should not base their sense of worth on whether or not a man wants them. We are valuable simply because we are members of the human race, regardless of any other persons approval. Do we really want to say that unwanted people might as well be dead? What about a woman who is wanted when shes young and sexy but less so as she gets older? At what point is it all right to terminate her?
[...] No one wants an abortion as she wants an ice cream cone or a Porsche. She wants an abortion as an animal, caught in a trap, wants to gnaw off its own leg.
Strange, isnt it, that both pro-choice and pro-life people agree that is true? Abortion is a horrible and harrowing experience. That women choose it so frequently shows how much worse continuing a pregnancy can be. Essentially, weve agreed to surgically alter women so that they can get along in a mans world. And then expect them to be grateful for it.
Nobody wants to have an abortion. And if nobody wants to have an abortion, why are women doing it, 2800 times a day? If women doing something 2,800 times daily that they dont want to do, this is not liberation weve won. We are colluding in a strange new form of oppression.
Thanks for posting. That was probably the best commentary I have ever read on the subject.
Very moving and well written article!
Thanks for posting.
The second-to-last paragraph is the money quote.
"In time, its going to be impossible to deny that abortion is violence against children. Future generations, as they look back, are not necessarily going to go easy on ours. Our bland acceptance of abortion is not going to look like an understandable goof. In fact, the kind of hatred that people now level at Nazis and slave-owners may well fall upon our era. Future generations can accurately say, Its not like they didnt know. They can say, After all, they had sonograms. They may consider this bloodshed to be a form of genocide. They might judge our generation to be monsters."
See this one also. It focuses on what Roe v Wade has done to completely pervert and to jeopardize the integrity of our legal system ---
Roe v. Wade Is A Jealous God That Demands Blood And Generates Rage
It needs a collective psychiatric examination.
WOW! That was simply amazing. Printing that one out; it is full of well-reasoned arguments against abortion.
I was 12 years old when Roe v. Wade was foisted upon us. I clearly remember my Mom saying to me, “Well, it looks like you’ll be able to legally kill your unborn future babies.”
I was HORRIFIED to even imagine that. I was barely over playing with dolls at 12 years old.
She also told me, “But, as long as I am alive; if you get pregnant in high school, or before you’re married, you do NOT have MY permission to do so. You are NOT to kill MY Grandbaby, no matter what the circumstance. We will raise that baby TOGETHER. Are. We. Clear?”
My Mom was so p*ssed that she even had to HAVE a conversation like that with her 12 year old daughter. (She did not discuss this with my then-8-year-old sister, but she gave her the same speech when the time was right.)
Sadly, neither myself nor my younger sister were able to make her a biological Grandma; we both have reproductive issues. However, she was a great Grandma to my Step-Sons back in the day, so I’m glad she’s had that. :)

Brainwashed Feminists will NEVER understand or admit to this.
That’s all very well, but what are these future generations going to be doing? Will they be chaste?
A fornicating society needs cheap and easy abortion. One might posit an effortless, flip-the-switch means of contraception, but we really have that now. We have long-term means - injectable, implants, pills, surgery - and we have quick-fix means, “emergency contraception.” Yet we still have abortion.
What will happen in the future that will allow those people to have fornication at-whim but no unwanted babies ever conceived? What will happen that will cause people to choose birth for every baby, regardless of his health status?
Did you see the video of Dolan at the Opening Mass for the vigil at the Shrine?
He made it all about immigration—”sanctuary.”
The crowd was unsmiling and silent. He didn’t get one round of applause—not even when he mentioned the unborn.
It looks as though pro-lifers are thoroughly fed up with being told they are “obsessed” with abortion, and with bishops’ bewailing the defeat of the greatest abortion fanatic in history.
Immigrants vote 70-80% pro-abortion. I’d bet that most of the unsmiling people in the Shrine know that.
The same crowd yelled their heads off the next day for Kellyanne Fitzpatrick Conway and Mike Pence.
Cardinal Dolan is such a -— I can’t think of a nun that wouldn’t be bordering on the sacrilegious.
Abortion is not an eraser.
The result is a wounded woman and a dead baby.
Over 60 million dead babies since 1973 in America alone.
Many of the female babies aborted in the 1973-2000 timeframe would have been borne children by now.
So add another 35 million children missing that would have been born had their mothers not been aborted.
Every female baby has within her all of her eggs that she will release as an adult.
Thus, cutting off a female child cuts off future children she would have had.
So, the scale of this monstrous sin against God becomes more in focus.
That God suspended His righteous judgment on our nation and allowed Trump to be President is proof of His mercy, undeserved by us.
For those women dealing witth the grief and sorrow that remains after an abortion, sometimes for decades, here is a source of help:

“Noun.”
Although there are plenty of sacrilegious nuns, as well. :o(

“Our bland acceptance of abortion is not going to look like an understandable goof. In fact, the kind of hatred that people now level at Nazis and slave-owners may well fall upon our era.”
That is how I have felt about all Democrats, many Republicans, almost all Catholic bishops, many priests, four Popes (Really, what have they DONE about Cuomo, Kennedy, Pelosi, Drinan, Bernardin, Wuerl, etc.?) and virtually all media personalities for forty years.
LOL
