Visa, green card holders and refugees have already been blocked from getting on flights to the United States just hours after Trump signed an executive order introducing his tough new immigration bans.
Those who were already in the air flying when Trump's executive order came into effect on Friday were stopped and detained when they landed in the U.S. Others trying to board flights from countries listed on the order were banned from getting on planes bound for America.

Yes some “innocents” will be stopped in the process, just as is the case when police have a DWI checkpoint. For now they will have to wait until the new administration does what the old one refused to do - come up with a better, more robust vetting process. In some cases, for some countries, due to various conditions there, truly secure vetting might be impossible, and where so it ought to be admitted.

It is so great to have a POTUS who isn’t a mealy-mouth politician who does nothing.....I also like Trump’s non politically correct solutions to getting things done in this Bureaucratic heavy government of ours.
I’ve been wondering how this works with permanent residents. A green card holder can re-enter the US for up to a year. For more than one year, they need a re-entry permit issued before they leave. After two years, they need a re-entry visa, which means they are SOL.
This grin is going to freeze on my face.
Amazing how what should be “normal” is newsworthy. When this stuff is no longer news we will have taken a big step toward MAGA.
Great! We do not need any more Muslims from Sharia countries. We have too many as it is. Send all of those who came in since the election back to their home countries until they can be investigated, because it’s a safe bet there are jihadis in the pipeline who were rushing to get in before Pres. Trump’s inauguration.
And for all the Democrats in and out of the media, Jimmy Carter put a hold on Middle East visas during the gas crisis of the ‘70s. Surely the threat ISIS poses is a more important reason to stop immigration from those countries who are nurseries for jihadis.
Though 45 just blocked 7, there are unfortunately 30 more Sharia countries at least.
I expect another country may do the same thing, which one I cannot speculate, maybe Italy?.
Wrong. Those “hit hardest” are those that have lost loved ones due to Hussein Obama’s carelessness.
