Does the Puppy Bowl still have the Bissell Kitty Halftime Show? Went to the Puppy Bowl website, which is a poorly designed PITA to navigate, and could find no mention of the halftime festivities!
Dunno about this year, but halftimes of the years I've watched have had kitties.

On the whole NFL/sponsorship thing, I'm guessing that the software associated with today's cable boxes/feeds is such
that the providers/networks would absolutely know if several million viewers changed channels at the VERY end of the second quarter.
So I'd encourage folks whose addiction compels them to watch the SB to at least tune in for the actual game only and send a hearty FU to the sponsors underwriting the traditional leftard bile.
