Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim said a united country could help the government negotiate with President Donald Trump.

Mexico needs to negotiate from a position of strength, Slim said in a Friday news conference. Slim, who gained a $50 billion fortune owning mobile network America Movil, argued the clash between Trump and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto has brought Mexico together. Slim urged political parties in the country to unite behind Nieto.

While he called Trump a great negotiator, Slim said Friday that Mexico should not be scared of him or assume things will go badly.

If the Mexican people side with nieto they will be on the wrong side. He is on the side on the cartels which is Trumps target.

This is good news! Trump is telling the Mexican oligarchs that business as usual - meaning ripping off the U.S. and our tax-dollars subsidizing their poor - will no longer be tolerated. So if Mexico needs to look inward and regroup, that's more power to both of us.

Mexico has tons of natural resources, a beautiful tropical climate, but they are getting screwed royally by their elites. They need to have their revolution, and in the long run, both countries will be better off.

Mexico needs to negotiate from a position of strength...

I used to box. One time I had a match and I didn’t see the opponent until the night of the fight. He was a beast.

I approached him from every position of my BEST strengths and left with a fractured rib and a loss.

Like Iron Mike said, “everybody’s got a plan until they get hit”

Mexico just got hit.

Usual and customary political hogwash and Bullshiit. Slim owns a very large interest in the NY Slimes and is trying to swing public opinions in both countries. Won’t do Mexico any good.

Carlos Slim is sweating bullets. He would much rather have Obumbles leading the USA “from the rear, riding a pink girl’s bike wearing mom jeans, than Pres.Trump leading from the front with a mine sweeper and a big brass band.

“Mexico needs to negotiate from a position of strength,”

...

Time isn’t on their side. They better hurry.

And, BTW, wasn’t it not too long ago that they brushed off Trump? Now they want to negotiate, and tell each other not to lose hope.

What would Mexico possibly have against us building a wall on our property/

Why aren’t these questions being asked of these b*******? Why are you permitting your cartels into our country? Why aren’t you taking care of your own citizenry? Why do you alienate the American people by exporting your crime and poverty in the US?

Why do you risk an American boycott of your products and travel destinations?

Wow, Marcus Aurelius. Respect level went up a notch.

Unless he pays for the wall, he should stay out of it.
