It was an otherwise good adventure movie. Don’t know why they had to base it on that weird incident, though. Probably some northeast liberal film maker attempting to depict southerners in a stereotypical bad light.

They way they promoted this movie was really deceptive. I found out way too late it was not a good date movie.
