I remember Greensboro 1979.....it really served to calm the stupidity down for a long while.
The whole thing was weird, as if it was all staged. I think both sides had agitators and that led to it. The demonstrators misled police as to where they were going to hold their protest, then very vocally blamed police for not being there at their Death To The Klan protest, even before the shooting began. They’d dared the Klan to show up, and they did. Oddly, they knew where to go. Police didn’t.
