Well, the group that expelled her was for former SS agents. Active-duty SS agents could be given "associate membership", and, to my understanding, this is what she had, and from which she was expelled.

Nope, she was an associate member of a retired agent's group, but still an active agent.

And not just any ole agent, but the SAIC of the Denver district, aka "The Boss".

No she is not retired yet which is why she is only an associate member of the organization. You have to be retired in good standing to be a full member.

She will spend the rest of her career counting paperclips in in DC.

I heard she was head of the Denver District Office, but can't find that reference. I've seen her referred to as a "senior agent" & I also found this:

Ms. O’Grady is a special agent responsible for the Secret Service’s investigative, intelligence and protective missions throughout Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Idaho, according to information on her career published at an event in Colorado in 2016 that highlighted women in unconventional jobs.

She's an associate member of the retired group so she's not retired yet.
