Peshaw! Simple solution. Build a bunch more ineffective bird cuisinarts and in flight bird incinerators, displace some pesky ground critters and BOOM! Instant power. Or not. Don’t forget that when you try to talk to the ecowankers they always look at you like they know something you don’t. Why? Because you’re a neanderthalic miscreant erf killer. ;-) Now, it’s cool enough out that the HEMI needs to warm up the inside of the truck at idle for about a half an hour. Gotta feed the plants.

At least Trump is throwing cash at a solar panel company that has non stop booze parties and then throws everything in the dumpsters and fires its workforce.

But there is a coal based alternative in the development pipeline about 10% more efficient than current coal based electric generation. All the emissions can be captured as desired at the stated efficiency of 52%. It can burn NG as the alternate fuel if economics dictate a savings exists. The pilot plant will start operation this summer burning NG. Commercial scale plants are slated for deployment in about three years following confirmation of the design.

The new system is based upon a single non-compounded gas turbine variant which can 100% load follow, which no current coal burning system can possibly do. Rail delivery of fuel is well established. Energy companies in the Dakota area are funding the development of the unit for gasification of lignite for this variant of the Allam power cycle.
