I believe the Illinois governor makes the decision whether to mobilize the NG, not mayor Tiny Dancer.
Chicago gets the bill.

The liberals are unsure what to do, because so much of the violence is due to black gang members shooting people over drug deals gone bad or other criminal activity. Liberals feel that black people are victims of racism and all that, so they are afraid of being called racist if they take strong actions against black criminals.

Emmanuel needs to pack his tutu and move down to the state pen with the rest of Illinois political rat pack.

Eisenhower federalized the AK Guard and used the 101st Airborne to enforce a FEDERAL court order. Has long has the state and local governments are functioning, (An ironic term with regard to almost any Dem run big city) Federal assistance is limited to constitutional enforcement of extant federal criminal law, or upon an Article IV Section IV request from the State executive or legislature.

The problem is not the cops, its the courts letting every one off on pleas to go out and do it all over again - same problem growing in Milwaukee. Troops, money, and more cops will not help other than to catch more so they have to be released faster due to space constraints.

He wants the money so he can pocket it and put what he doesn’t pocket in the DNC treasury.

The only way the Federal Government should help Chicago is after the Chicago mayor, city council, and chief of police have resigned.

Because Arkansas was defying Federal Law?

Chicago, as far as I can tell, is not in violation of Federal Law.

Besides, like the city of NYC, the people of Chicago deserve what they are getting.

All he wants is money. He won’t do anything about the violence. Time to get rid of the gangs. A lot of them could probably be deported to you know where.

OH YES twinkle toes. We can “AID” you. A lot more DEA agents and FBI agents and DHS agents while the AG starts investigations into your corruption.

The drugs going into Chicago are comming from where? We will just expand the investigation a little more thats all. And you will get to watch from your jail cell.

THIS - every word you wrote.

So. Don’t send the National Guard. Send Special Forces teams and a battalion of Rangers.

Appoint Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke as a Special U.S. Marshal. He can lead a task force of the biggest and baddest U.S. Marshals fugitive capture teams detailed for temporary duty to Chicago from other jurisdictions. Problem solved...
