Media bias against Donald Trump will worsen
Ottawa Sun ^ | January 23, 2017 | Anthony Furey

On Friday a journalist reported that within hours of Donald Trump moving into the White House, the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. that sat in the Oval Office had been removed.

It was entirely fake. And it didn’t come from some fringe source either. It was posted on social media by a TIME magazine reporter.

The reporter realized it was a mistake and subsequently issued an apology. But not before many people had taken it as truth and other reporters repeated it.

This minor incident is a window into exactly what liberal media bias is and why it’ll only worsen in the months ahead...

Good. Let the media destroy its credibility.

On Inauguration Day, CNN ran a story about how Nancy Sinatra was “angry about Trump using her father’s “My Way” at the Inaugural Ball.” Sinatra tweeted: “I never said that. Why are you lying CNN?”

Someone should keep track of all the #fakenews that CNN, MSNBC, NYT, WP and others put out over the next 4 years. I would be willing to bet that such a list would fill several volumes.

It will worsen, that’s why FCC licenses need to be ‘reviewed’ by the Trump admin.

If Trump is successful, the people who have been without jobs and insurance.. and money running out .... who voted for obama... will turn on the media if they keep crucifying President Trump.

Media bias against Trump actually works to his (and our) favor, because
1) the public dones’t trust the media and

2) My biggest fear with Trump was always that the media will coopt him by praising them whenever he goes left. The media doesn’t seem to have figured out that Trump’s personality is that he will never back down from a fight. The way to get him to go your way is to tell him you’re on his side, then when he likes you, you can get him to do things that he wouldn’t have done before. But if you try to bully him and force him to do things your way, he’ll dig in fight you the bitter end. The more the leftwing media goes after Trump, the more they ensure he won’t drift to the left.

With 20 million of his own followers on Twitter and now another 13 million on @potus, it doesn’t much matter what the Media says.

This was misinformation from the pool reporter so eager to come up with dirt on Trump that he put it out without checking — whether or not he knew it was untrue at the time.

Good. Let the media destroy its credibility.

What credibility? Most of the Washington press corps are firmly ensconced in the liberal camp.

In the Meet the Press interview, Kelly Ann had a good zinger for F. Chuck Todd,”Chuck the press’ favor ability rating is lower than Trump!”

The more the media does this the more people tune them out. They were kid gloves with Obama, but now they’re being divisive against Trump. People can see the clear contrast going on here and it means more liberal snowflake reporters and support staff in print and TV will continue to lose jobs as their employers and parent companies continue to lose viewers and readers plus much needed commercial ad revenues.

And the tweets will continue. Direct to the public.

The media is no longer the gatekeeper molding public perception, hence their fits.

Post the NAME of the reporter making the false claim! Post him in the back of the briefing room. They are dumb but they will eventually get the message.

Yup. In the case of CNN, for example, I would send a letter to the CEO of CNN advising him that any CNN employee found on WH grounds would be removed.
