Amount going to SEIU:
ZEEEEERO...!
No insane billion dollar light rail projects in California on the list...
“Among the projects could be a new terminal for the Kansas City airport, upgrades to Interstate 95 in North Carolina and the construction of a high-speed railway from Dallas to Houston.”
Can Kansas City build their own airport terminal and could a private corporation bulfd that Houston to Dallas high speed rail?
I like the last one: Chokechicken and Sierra Madre Wind Energy in Wyoming. There’s only about a half-million people in the whole state, that shouldn’t be much money.
Instantly doing the “shovel-ready jobs” Obama promised to do before he funnelled the money to big donors, the DNC, and himself.
I’ve been hearing about a high speed train from Austin to Houston for a long time. First I’ve heard of a Dallas to Houston train.
All that money got sucked into the bureaucracies and special-interest groups. Trump's money is going directly to the builders who are going to get things done.
In all honesty, if Trump continues on this trajectory and keeps his promises, he could surpass Coolidge and Reagan and be the greatest President since Lincoln.
I saw some electricity grid entries, but not nearly enough.
I would put the updating, hardening, and provision for much standby capacity for our power generating and delivering systems (but not including bird-murdering wind) as job priority one.
.
I have very mixed feelings on “infrastructure projects”, many of which are just pork. However, if President Trump cuts spending elsewhere, waste mixed with some good decisions in this area is a small price to pay for the right decisions on Obamacare, immigration, and other areas.
One project that I hope will make the final list is replacing lead service pipes in cities. Like many things we spend money on, that’s not a federal responsibility. However, the cities and states have failed in that area for decades. President Trump should do the right thing and eliminate lead service pipes as a problem, and the bonus is that it almost guarantees urban votes and his reelection - an exceptional return on investment!
nothing for sanctuary cities I hope
How about we have internet that matches, say, LATVIA’S for Gah’s sake.
NO!
Taking people in Fargo to pay for water plant in Huntington Beach is WRONG.
This idea is so unpopular in Kansas city that city officials have cancelled plans to hold a referendum on it.
