Correct. This Orwell thing is a demonrat talking point thing. Noticed on another website that leftys started just spontaneously quoting Orwell.
It was probably 300 college professors who heard some mention of 1984 and had to admit they hadn’t ever read the book.....so they intend to read it quickly before their students start to ask questions.
The problem I see in some liberal group reading 1984....the more you get into the story....the less likely you start to believe your own liberal claims, and you end up as a conservative.
