Trump clamps down on federal agencies

The Trump administration is clamping down on public communications by agencies as it seeks to assert control over the federal bureaucracy.

New restrictions on social media use and interaction with press and lawmakers at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the departments of Commerce, Health and Human Services, Agriculture and the Interior have sparked concerns of a President Trump-backed effort to silence dissenting views.

The Trump administration’s newly imposed communications rules vary at different agencies.

At the EPA, staffers were ordered to stop issuing press releases, blog updates and social media posts, according to a memo to employees. The Agriculture Department’s research arm was reportedly told by its chief of staff to stop issuing news releases, photos and other “public-facing” documents — although the agency disavowed the order late Tuesday, saying that new guidance would replace it. …

Stupid. These agencies are supposed to speak for the administration, not be disseminating dissenting views.

"President Trump-backed effort to silence dissenting views."

There is a difference between dissenting view and subversive activity.

Good luck enforcing this. Feds are not stupid, and they are completely able to circumvent these “ harsh” restrictions. Any leader worth his salt can intuit this. Better, I think, is to inspire by leadership the idea that “ My boss wants this, so I do too.”

Yes, progressives helped invent the massive dictatorial regulatory state of “experts” who are never supposed to be questioned or managed, just allowed to do what they want, as if they were some kind of superior human beings that MUST know better than the people’s elected representatives - on any subject.

ALL federal agencies become captives of either regulation activists or those being regulated, or they wax and wane between the two.

Congress should end its abdication of authority over the “regulators” and make every single “regulation” return back through 100% of the legislative process in Congress, leaving it to Congress to accept it, alter it, pass it or deny it passage.

These are all under the aegis of the Executive Branch and as such, DJT is their new boss.

The new boss always hands out new marching orders.

These agencies act as though they are separate branches all to themselves and it's high time they get smacked back into order!

ALL federal agencies become captives of either regulation activists or those being regulated, or they wax and wane between the two.

The Democrats have taken this to the next level over the last 40 years.

Now regulatory agencies have become the cloistered realm of a new priesthood.

Two hundred years ago all colleges were in their essence seminaries. Founded to teach philosophy and religion as the foundations of all knowledge. Over the years most devolved in to strictly the imparting of knowledge and the philosophy where it was taught at all tended to the materialist/nihilist end of the spectrum.

Now the colleges are once again seminaries for the new religion of Gia (or perhaps neo-paganism if you prefer). The young are being prepared for a new priesthood in where they will practice their religion in the halls of power established in the regulatory agencies of government.

Our regulators are a breed of Zionist for Gia intent on saving the world from corporate apostates to the new religion.

Anyone who would put an extra pound of carbon dioxide in to the atmosphere must be brought to the confessional and be made to recant his sin.
