Donald Trump has been in office for four days and hes already proving to be the dangerous threat to our climate we feared he would be, said Michael Brune, executive director of the environmental organisation the Sierra Club.Moving oil by rail in tank cars is considerably more risky, considerably more costly than by pipeline. The safety record of pipelines vs rail heavily favors pipelines.
The Obama administration received donations from the environmental groups and the owners of the rail systems transporting the oil. He had little motivation to give up that income to change to a less expensive and safer system.

The oil brought in from Canada displaces oil we would be bringing in by tanker-ship from overseas.
It is not pushing us “further” into the embrace of fossil fuels. We are using fossil fuels in any case. The question is simply, whose are we using.
In the case of North Dakota, this is oil that will be produced and sent to market, either by rail or pipeline. Pipelines are safer than rail cars. And way cheaper.

The
Kardashev scale is often embraced by starry-eyed fantasists and self-styled futurists of the type that the Left fancies. It rates the level of a civilization's advance by how much energy it harnesses and consumes. Yet they seem to want our nation to dramatically reduce its energy use. Why?

“BOILING THE PLANET” is it? How hysterical can you get and how ignorant of natural science can you be? Oh! I forgot...natural science is now political science and can be whatever scares the “snowflakes” enough to send them running into their safe spaces.
The more I hear about global (glo-bull) warming the more I realize that it was the humans that came during the age of the dinosaurs and built fires and burned coal, pitch and wood that caused the world to go crazy and exterminate the animals and dinosaurs and they had nothing to eat and all starved to death. This is an example of the science and history taught at our “so-called” centers of higher education. Now, they are trying again to prevent the extermination of mankind by making us freeze to death in the winters and starve to death all year long. Just how stupid are those with PHD’s in fake science can be?

Fake Climate Science has no upper limit on hyperbole.
