Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has invited President Trump to address a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Ryan made the announcement during a GOP leadership press conference this morning. "With this unified Republican government, we have a unique opportunity to deliver results to the American people. And in the days and weeks, we look forward to laying out more of our agenda," said Ryan. "To that end, I am inviting President Trump to address a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28. This will be an opportunity for the people and their representatives to hear directly from our new president about his vision and our shared agenda," the Wisconsin Republican said.

How many Dems will stay away?
Paul Ryan thinks he is so much smarter and wiser than President Trump. Perhaps by Feb. 28 he will have received enough rope to hang himself.
Trump is a force to be reckoned with.
Kudos to those who had the foresight to put aside their initial thoughts on him, and back him so he could do the things he is, for (us) the nation.

I, personally, had seen and heard enough of Trump within a week of his and Melania’s now famous descension on the Trump Tower escalator, to be convinced he was the man; and never wavered thru all the hardships and horse$h!t.
I recall Obama did an address to Congress soon after taking office. Though it was not officially a state of the union speech. Since a president just sworn in on Jan 20th just gave an inaugural address then, normally the new president does not do an official state of the union speech until the next winter.

Think he has asked for the pen Trump offered him that he threw down back on Inauguration day. Ryan’s suckups are getting old because they are always followed by insult.
Looking forward to it and the mad rush among the RATS to be the first one to scream, “You lie!” With any luck, they’ll start screaming at each other and throw punches. Or shoes.
