Russia and regional powers Turkey and Iran backed a shaky truce between Syria's warring parties on Tuesday and agreed to monitor its compliance, but on the ground rebels faced continued fighting on two fronts which could undermine the deal.

After two days of deliberations in Astana, Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said the powers had agreed in a final communique to establish a system "to observe and ensure full compliance with the ceasefire, prevent any provocations and determine all modalities of the ceasefire."

While welcoming the text, the Syrian government's chief negotiator Bashar Ja'afari said an offensive against rebels west of Damascus would carry on. Rebels say it is a major violation of the ceasefire agreed on Dec. 30.

The jihadist barbarians were never part of the peace deal and are never going to be ANY part of ANY peace deal short of establishing a radical theocratic state as Saudi/Qatari puppets

Now, perhaps, the US will cooperate with Syria Russia and Turkey in rooting them out and killing them

The Rebels are TERRORISTS trying to over throw the elected government!! Look it up!! They are part of ISIS!!! I do hope we are invited by the sovereign nation of Syria to participate in the absolute decimation of ISIS especially in their capital of Raqqah very soon. Civilians need to leave NOW. Mad Dog is working on it as we speak, I’ll bet on it.

“Now, perhaps, the US will cooperate with Syria Russia and Turkey in rooting them out and killing them”. That has started already with air strikes on Saturday.

I know that, but McCain, Graham and Rubio think they are “moderate” jihadists.

The nations that backs this truce are the nations who makes up the Gog/Magog Alliance.

I’m starting to wonder if Jerusalem shall become more significant, first.

Lotsa pointers, these days.

Zechariah 12:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

12 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel, saith the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.

2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Zechariah 14:1-5 King James Version (KJV)

14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

So, we drop a bubble over the rats and come back in a few months to deal with the few that survived the battle within.

I am amazed at their absolute naiveté . They cannot demonstrate why a single American should die fighting Assad. Yey McCain absolutely met with Isis people and pledged US Support. You cannot make this guy up. Graham is just his butt boy. Rubio is “Little Marco” he will never be anything else.

I never knew how much I'd miss the 1980's. Well, except for this. I helped somebody buy one because that's what she wanted - so I negotiated the deal. I got her much more car for her money but who knows how long the thing actually lasted. It had that red interior, too. Still, it had nothing on the pimpy purple-red in the champagne-colored 280Z that I test-drove.

Although, Mattis has come out in favor of Palestinians getting the a nation on the west bank and on the removal of Assad. And I’ll be very surprised if he rescinds females in the infantry and SF.

He is ok, but we shouldn’t slavishly worship him. He needs to earn it.

We didn’t stick our nose in it. We STARTED it with NGOs and neocons in the Bush era, laying the groundwork to remove Assad and put in a Saudi friendly government.
