Did I misread something because it sounds like he let the Justice Department off the hook in this ruling?
I want Sessions to pull a Bill Clinton and fire all - every single one - of the U.S. District Attorneys, in mass. And carefully vet and chose his own replacements for all of them, and give them the authority to fire and replace anyone on their staff.
The original DACA program continues.
USCIS is still processing legal papers for illegal aliens.
Every day that goes by without action another 40-50 illegal aliens are given work papers and permission to remain here.
The judge stopped DAPA and an expansion on DACA known as DACA+, but the original DACA goes on.
President Trump must act to stop DACA immediately, at least stop accepting new applications even if they do not rescind papers already issued.
Also of concern here, and I assume the judge was telegraphing, that no State has filed a statement of harm. Sort of like Roberts’ ruling on the ACA that it was a tax and should the tax prove to be onerous, then the court could strike it down. No one put forward that claim and thus bad law motors on. Opportunities lost :(
