Will they do it?

Nothing stopping them.

I figure Graham and McCain are against it.

Is Ryan? McConnell?

There will never be a better opportunity. But I’m not that optimistic.

I know what the U.N. does TO us, but what does it ever do FOR us?

What’s the scoop on this? For show? For principle? Gonna pass? Get wide support?

And is it, at the end of the day, the best way to deal with our membership in the U.N.?

And pointers to good analytical takes on this from analysts who (rightly) despise the U.N.?

McCain may go for this. When he made his presidential bid in 2008, he floated the idea of abandoning the UN. Granted, he floated the idea of forming an competing organization that was composed solely of Western democracies.

I’m 110% on board, but unfortunately, there are too many die hard globalist in congress. Never be signed into law. Hope it has a psychological impact though.

Hope I’m wrong, but my gut-feeling is that this will be the first of many disappointments, handed us by squishy Republicans siding with Democrats in obstructing policies that sound really good to us...

Getting to witness the start toward the destruction of the United Nations has been a long time in coming since a student presentation some fifty years ago in a High School World History class and in a Contemporary Issues class, in which the UN was denounced as a Communist-controlled organization and that those who supported it, such as the writers of the school books being used in the classes, were anti-American Comsymps and traitors.
