It’s pretty clear all options are on the table.

Of course they are. But -- again -- that which the headline of this original post says is NOT what Senator McConnell said. It is the very thing that the Senator avoided saying to Wallace THREE times. Wallace pushed McConnell THREE times to say what this headline says and the Senator did NOT. I am a witness.

The headline is a distortion of what happened in that TV interview. Hence, it is fake.

It’s not fake. It’s an inferential threat because it’s a real option.

Senate Majority Leader ‘to use’ if necessary follows his firm emphatic assertion “The nominee will be confirmed”. So it’s based on inference. That’s not fake.

It’s not distortion because McConnell was asked several times whether he would go nuclear on confirming SCOTUS appointees. And his final answer was “The nominee will be confirmed”. That can only mean he will go nuclear if the democrats try to block the nominee.

You might want to reexamine your usage of the label ‘fake’.

He did not say “the nuclear option is off the table” which is the sense of the headline.
