If Trump really wants to, I bet his DOJ could find something to hit Ayers with.

Definitely. Ayers got pardoned for his previous acts, but anything he did since 1980 is fair game.

The murder of a San Francisco police officer in '70 or '71 (can't recall exactly when) is believed to have been Ayers's work.IIRC it hasn't been solved yet. Also, that huge explosion in Greenwich Village in 1970 is also thought to be his work. And there's the Brinks robbery in Nyack,NY (suburban NYC) in the 80's in which two cops were killed.

At his trial(s) the prosecution could use quotes he gave in the interview that appeared in the NY Times on 9/11/2001.

Right. As long as he doesn’t assign the same idiot that he sent to the ninth Circuit Court to argue the immigration ban case before them, because he was an idiot from the Obama administration, who deliberately lost the case for him and didn’t even bother to mention constitutionality. We don’t need more of that.
