That is my thinking as well. Heck if what she said was true the man’s mother just died.
What a horrible wife he has to pull a stunt like that in his time of grief.

I do too. IMHO his face was one of disgust. His Mother is dead and he needs to get to that location. His wife messed that up with her mouth. HER rotten attitude and opinions delayed HIM to get to family. Self centered, rude and just plain nasty.

He has clearly been an enabler for her. One of the reasons she is so unhinged and uncontrolled is that HE is afraid to say anything. If he stood up and sternly told her to STFU she might calm down a little.
Isn’t there a joke similar to this? To the effect that the husband stays onboard, while the wife gets kicked off, because it’s the quietist moment he’s had in over 50 years?
