National and state Republicans think 2018 is the year they will essentially wipe Democrats out of Wisconsin. After their historic 2016 wins, Sen. Tammy Baldwin is the last Democrat left holding statewide office in the Dairy State and the drive to drum her out of office is already pushing highway speeds. Recent history is on Republicans' side: in 2016, Trump became the first Republican to win Wisconsin since Ronald Reagan in 1984; and Republican Sen. Ron Johnson whose 2010 victory was considered a fluke beat former Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold for the second time. After Republican Gov. Scott Walker survived a 2012 recall, he won re-election in 2014. And in 2010, Democrats lost the governor's mansion, a U.S. Senate seat, a long-held U.S. House seat and control of the entire state Legislature. Already in 2017, they point to Democrats recent failure to field a state Supreme Court candidate in Wisconsin judges are chosen in partisan elections as proof that momentum is still on their side.

I wonder if the voting population in Wisconsin finally realized that the press does not tell the truth? The voters only needed to show up and vote to win. This will occur again.
How can we get Senator Baldwin to get out there and make more wacky, left-wing speeches?!

She isn’t being “targeted” because of her sex. She is being targeted because of her support for statism.
Good grief! Can we also dump our Pennsylvania moron senator, Bobby Casey?
Good news. Good news!
FYI, Kentucky recently elected a Republican Governor for the first time since "forever". And in the KY legislative body(ies), the Republicans went from being the minority for nearly 100 years to a supermajority in this election cycle.
Go Wisconsin! I am so proud of my home state! And Kentucky! A state where I have familial ties.
And that she is a hard core leftist lesbian.
Who ran and hid those facts when she was elected the first time.
As a poll watcher, I'm involved with pubbie people {just on the edges} and they are the most screwed up group I have ever seen.
As an avid Tea Party guy, even though there was no formal structure, we were more disciplined then than anything that I've seen in the pubbie party.
I was going into Monessen as a poll watcher, have done it for 16 years and yet it took until the last day before the election to get my credentials.
I had contacted the pubbie hdq in early AUGUST.
Has anyone heard about any body running for PA senator or gubbernor???
We need a couple of good candidates with brass balls {and I don't care about their gender}.
PA Senator Kim Ward would be a good candidate.
Don’t get your hopes up. As soon as Republican State Assembly Speaker Robin Vos gets his way and raises taxes on behalf of the “Road Lobby” later this year, the whole state will revert back to the Democrats.
Isn’t secretary of education still a dem? That would be another state-wide office.
The Wisconsin media, led by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Wisconsin State Journal, have lost their credibility. Those papers have run daily hit pieces on Scott Walker and the GOP in general. They repeat their simple theme daily: "Democrats good, Republicans bad". They skew the truth and often simply lie. People have seen so much of it they have tuned out the media. Meanwhile, local talk radio in Milwaukee and Madison features some excellent conservative hosts who set the record straight.
This is only good news if the R’s do something good with their momentum. If they just collect money and dust, they’ll get humbled.
They need to unshackle business and labor to reestablish the nuclear family.
There, fixed it for you. The MJS has taken their anti-Conservative bias to a whole new level since Gannett purchased them.
You been like the post card ad she sent out showing her sitting around a dinner table with to children and a man looking like they just came from church.
Be still, my heart!
