I love fr too I like backups raid level 4 or 5 and cloud formation I have been where Jim Robinson has been for the last couple of days. All I remember is being mad and feeling foolish. It’s called AWS the year is 2017 this site is donation driven,deal with reality and let’s fix this without blamed but realize if possible how to prevent single disc failure s. I don’t know the details but down time on this budget of this length of time when people have volunteered to help. This is my industry and I realize my level of acceptance of these events is much less then non IT. This long of outage is basically a termination type of offense for a redundant issue. This is wakeup call we will be targeted more in the future
Since those people knew we were down we can assume the 'freepers' who posted nasty comments were trolls who come here regularly. Might be a good idea to track them down on-line and give ‘em the boot.
