But its broad language gave federal agencies wide latitude to change, delay or waive provisions of the law that they deemed overly costly for insurers, drug makers, doctors, patients or states,

Which will also give him an opportunity to find out who's on board and who will need to be replaced....

Did Free Republic restart in an alternative universe? This appears to be a reasonable description of the executive order signed by President Trump, but is also claims to be from the New York Times. That just doesn't make sense.

- President Trump - Doesn't that sound good!

Think about the folks that got into financial trouble because of this fiasco. The small businesses, the doctors who had to fork over thousands of dollars to update their software, the doctors who quit their practice, the hospitals that closed and goes on. I know myself who had to start my social security early so the funds would go directly to paying my individual health policy. It was a crummy policy of a 5000 deductible and I’m still paying for an accidental fall two years ago. Which leads me to say when someone speaks of a deductible they should say annual deductible. It starts over every year.

I have even a better idea than using Executive Orders on ObamaCare.

Go through the written and signed law page by page and everywhere it says “as directed by the Secretary of HHS” direct the new Secretary to gut that paragraph/article. In short, kill Obamacare by being in total compliance with the law written, passed, and signed by the democrats and Obama. Then when the liberal sh**storm hits the media come back with: “What’s the issue? We are following the law exactly as it is written. If you have a problem properly resubmit a new law detailing what you really meant to say and we will see where it goes.

Get the liberal/dimocrats/LMSM to fully articulate what they want. Let Joe and Martha six-pack see what the liberal/dimocrats/LMSM are trying to hide.

Dagnabbit! I must have torn it up and tossed it already. I’m getting too efficient. I picked the wrong time to stop procrastinating. %#$&^$#&%

I guess I can still write it in on the “mandate” line in my 1040. Won’t have the same impact. :(

In the ‘90s I had no income to report but I kept filing 1040s anyway. After a few years of that the IRS sent me a letter saying “Please stop filing returns if you have no income.” Reading between the lines I took it to say “Quit wasting our time you bum.” lol

I should have framed it. I swear I kept that letter but several years ago I looked high and low for it and couldn’t find it.

Whew! I had an episode of TGA once...was sweating bullets until the docs ruled out a stroke.

It’s very disconcerting.
