I continue to be astonished that not enough Americans are sufficiently alarmed and abashed by the dangerous idiocies that continue to usher forth from the mouth of the man who will on Friday be inaugurated as president of the United States.
Toss ideology out of the window. This is about democracy and fascism, war and peace, life and death. I wish that I could write those words with the callous commercialism with which some will no doubt read them, as overheated rhetoric simply designed to stir agitation, provoke controversy and garner clicks. But alas, they are not. These words are the sincere dispatches of an observer, writer and citizen who continues to see worrisome signs of a slide toward the exceedingly unimaginable by a man who is utterly unprepared.

One would hope all citizens of the USA would be on their knees thanking God that in His mercy He moved Donald Trump and his stellar cabinet choices to use their considerable talents to save our country from the destruction of Leftist Democrat control. “But alas, they are not.”

War, war, war, that’s all they think of, when reading the NYT comments. Its unfortunate we now live in a volatile world, not that we haven’t before, but now it has bigger and better means of destruction. Grandpa always said, the damage that Europe faced in the 2 world wars will eventually be experienced here. If these idiots are afraid, they should think more about our defense. I can almost guarantee if there was a war, you could not rely on them, they would not fight, they would run like cockroaches and hide until it is over. Will Trump “start” a war? I don’t see that happening, but they would love to see it, and watch it from afar.
They were fine with an ineligible usurper who was a muslim-Marxist who flouted the laws, but are worried about a natural born citizen who believes in the rule of law.
Their unrestrained ignorance is frightening.
The things they fear have been happening under their very noses for eight years. Who in the hell can explain how that’s possible? How they can be so blind and actually live a life parallel to reality but not see it? Not even question it.
Their reactions to Hillary’s loss are so similar, so familiar, but so disconnected and misdirected. Where does it go? They seem so willing to destroy our nation on a bed of lies — without hesitation. Stockholm syndrome? It just doesn’t appear they realize they’ve been held hostage.
Scary.
