It’s about time to start raising rates. The Dems are hoping that pulls the rug out of Trump’s economy, but it won’t. Trump will do enough things to more than make up for it.

A very happy flat Thursday morning traders! Stocks have had 'mild gains' in fading volume and precious metals still see gold above $1,200 and silver atop $17. Our futures colleagues say stock indexes shouldn't change but they're afraid that metals will slump -0.4%.

After yesterday's CPI came in as expected at +0.3% (vs. last month's 0.2%), and industrial production soared +0.8% (last month -0.7%), today we get Claims and more:
