I understand the quandary. What we need is a Fed that will work with and not against DJT.

imho we don't.  She needs to do her job (regulate the value of the dollar) and forget the rest.

Sure looks like it but my take is she's not that smart.  I fault her for her failure to lead (there's never any workable consensus in the FOMC) and she's just not clear on concept (she keeps wandering in to fiscal policy (tax'n'spending) and leaving her fiscal policy (inflation).
