EUROPES right-wing parties are set to meet up in Germany amid an apparent rift in Germanys populist movement over how close to get to Frances Marine Le Pen. ___ Leaders of eurosceptic movements from France, Germany and Italy will come together in the city of Koblenz to discuss a possible political pact which could hand them more influence within the EU.
Symbolically, they will get together on January 21 - the first day of billionaire tycoon Donald Trump's stint as US President and a day after his inauguration.
The meeting will bring together Ms Le Pen, the French presidential candidate and leader of the Front National, with counterparts from the EUs other two great powers for the first time.
She will hold talks with Alternative fur Deutschlands (AfD) Frauke Petry and the Italian Legia Nords Matteo Salvini at the conference, which will also be attended by the possible future Dutch leader Geert Wilders.
The group... he he he
Sounds like they mean business.................
Usually the right in Europe in one place is like a room full of cats with very sharp claws and only one bowel of food.
I hope they all concentrate on real goals to be a real sane alternative to the Brussel-crats and socialists and not come across as a circus of loons.
If the gang can meet in Davos, these folks are entitled to meet.
How many spy agencies, foreign or domestic will conduct surveillance of the event?
Why is UKIP not joining them? BTW, who is the present leader of UKIP, and why is Nigel Farage not interested in running for Prime Minister, when now is the best chance for Nigel Farage to, actually, win the next election for PM?
You can’t actually run for PM in the way that people can run for president here. Your party has to be in the majority in Parliament, which UKIP is not. They’ve only recently got a few members in Parliament, so they are a long way from being the party in power.
But I agree he would be a great PM and I wish he were in position should that occasion come up. It might in a few years if UKIP keeps winning elections.
