The answer to our economic difficulties is the FairTax!
By ELIMINATING corporate income taxes, FairTax is a “border adjustable tax” which would allow US manufacturers to export their products without the added burden of Federal taxes (estimated to comprise as much as 25% of the final retail price!).
Manufactured goods imported into America arrive at our shores tax FRee — our trading “partners” utilize a border adjustable tax called the Value Added Tax (an EVIL tax, IMHO!) which is rebated to exporting companies, thus arriving here TAX FREE!
FairTax would impose a retail sales tax on ALL goods and services sold in the USA, and therefore, would level the playing field between domestic and imported goods sold in the USA.
AND by untaxing our exported goods, we would compete on a level playing field overseas.
Ergo, FairTax is THE answer!
I have been an advocate of the FairTax for a long time.
Maybe someday!
Perhaps it should be a matter of prayer. Hadn’t ever really thought of it that way. After all, it is FAIR.
I LOVE THE FAIR TAX ... But it is a Hard Sell to even folks on this venue.
I would implement it today if I were King and it will take almost that much arm twisting to make it happen.
It takes away a LOT of Power from those that want to Social Engineer, Control or in any way Shape the actions of Constituents (which is the Part I LOVE the most) and a big reason folks get into Politics or Journalism.
It’s design is the antithesis of the design of OBAMACARE.
The Fair Tax is EXACTLY “CHOICE” if you like your Doctor etc etc
A good start towards getting the Fair Tax would be to Change “TAX DAY” from April 15th to the day before Elections and you would see the Elites scrambling to try and keep up.

Most if not all of what Trump talks about re trade is actually do-able via the NRST. so much so that I kind of thought that his plan was to pass the Fairtax.
Border-adjustability, repatriating dollars, lowering the corporate income tax, encouraging manufacturing.....
Would that be a kick!
