US retailer woes continued this morning, a trend the began well prior to the poor holiday spending season, when retail giant Target not only announced ahead of its Feb 28 Q4 earnigns result that comparable sales during the combined November/December period decreased 1.3%, but that "as a result of this softer-than-expected sales performance, the Company updated its fourth quarter and full-year 2016 guidance."

Target shares tumbled as much as 4.9% on the news, which has dragged Wal-Mart as much as 1.5% lower.

Walmart’s profits were a product of the Bill Clinton open trade policy with China. Hillary was on the Board of Directors of Walmart until Bill became president and Walmart financed Bill’s primary bid.

An old friend of mine knew Sam. He called Sam and ribbed him about it. By that point Sam was pretty old and not well. He had to be a bit senile to allow Hillary Clinton on the Board.

We have a super Target where I used to do my grocery shopping. Now I go to Kroger. But a few days ago, I finally did go in for a few items that the other store doesn’t have. I noticed it was practically empty.
Wish we had a Walmart closer. Seems like they would rather go broke than admit they were wrong.

I used to love seeing those WalMart trucks when they had the big old flag and I think it said Proudly made in America. But that was so long ago I can’t remember
