date 1/13/17.....................WikiLeaks said Thursday that its founder Julian Assange will agree to be extradited to the U.S. if President Barack Obama grants clemency to Chelsea Manning.

WikiLeaks made the announcement on Twitter and remained adamant that the Department of Justice case against Assange was unconstitutional.

Commuting the sentence is not the same as pardoning, for what its worth.

So technically and actually, Assange is not bound to return to US with a Manning Commutation.

Half of Hollywood said they would move to Canada if Trump won. I don’t see no hockey sticks.

I hope Assange will stay where he is, safe and sound. He did a great service to the citizens of the U.S. by releasing the Podesta/Clinton emails.

What’s to hate with Julian Assange? Almost everything released through Wikileaks has proved to be of far greater veracity than the drivel we get from the mainstream media, which greatly expanded and facilitated the distribution of “fake news” in that territory once known as “the United States of America”.

I really don’t see what case the US has against Assange. Assange isn’t a US citizen and has never resided in the US. He is not bound by our national security laws, so how could he possibly have violated them?

I suppose if they can prove he paid Manning or other leakers for what they gave him, that would be illegal, but short of that, he hasn’t done anything the New York Times hasn’t done.

Logistics.

If he leaves the Ecuadorian embassy in London, the Brits pick him and extradite to Sweden.

The US is not even in the queue.
