LOL. My millenial daughter is the least of my worries -- she may be surrounded by hysterical progressives at college, but she has adopted a cautious "I don't like him, but I'll give him a chance, let's wait and see" attitude, which is fine by me.
The real problem for me is that I live in the area of Ithaca NY, "City of Evil" and arguably the most staunchly progressive city in America, save possibly Portland, OR or Austin, TX. I have had to keep my mouth shut since last Fall, lest I risk relationships with friends, family, co-workers, even the people I do business with. This town is filled with hysterical maniacs.

I think the capital of crazy is San Francisco.
I live in Denver, next to the People’s Republik of Boulder. Both have become snowflake cities. The hysteria is stunning. We have a liberal today announcing he is running for office because “we can’t stand by while Trump takes 400,000 off health insurance.”
