If Paul seriously thinks this, and much worse, hasn’t been going for for the past 40-50yrs, he’s delusional.
If an illegal activity ceases to be illegal merely because it’s been ignored for years, then we’re in far more serious trouble than we think. I take it you dislike Rand Paul. That’s fine, a lot of people do. I’m not exactly a fan myself. He’s certainly not his father, who despite his nuttier moments was quite the effective voice for Constitutional governance. But, he’s correct in this instance and it’s a very serious matter.
