Brennan can do more harm as a private citizen who isn’t required to answer to anyone. He needs watching 24/7 for the next 20 years.

How the Hell did the Republicans ever approve this guy?

Most GOP's and especially RINO's love the massive nanny and surveillance state, oddly, even when it is working hand-in-hand with the progressive left, like the rest of our massive Bureaucracy. The few vocal opponents, like the Paul family, are considered kooks - you can see that opinion here.

If anyone can clear and overturn the table, and right it again, it’s him.

“Trump will fire him”

Perhaps Trump is waiting so he can have Brenan escorted out of the office by Marshals while carrying his personal effects in a box.

Well, this gives a lot of context to the CIA’s current attempt to destroy Trump with bogus intel sourced from 4chan.

You all, Brennan is gone in 5 days and look who is taking over his position:

Congressman Mike Pompeo ("Pom-PAY-oh") is a third term congressman from the 4th District. As a teenager, he enrolled at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He graduated first in his class from West Point in 1986 and then served as a cavalry officer patrolling the Iron Curtain before the fall of the Berlin Wall. He also served with the 2nd Squadron, 7th Cavalry in the Fourth Infantry Division.

After leaving active duty, Mike graduated from Harvard Law School having been an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Mike later returned to his mother’s family roots in South Central Kansas and founded Thayer Aerospace, where he served as CEO for more than a decade providing components for commercial and military aircraft. He then became President of Sentry International, an oilfield equipment manufacturing, distribution, and service company.

Mike serves on two major committees: Energy and Commerce, which oversees energy, health care, manufacturing, and telecommunications, and the House Intelligence Committee, which oversees America’s intelligence-gathering efforts. Earlier in 2014, he was also appointed to the House Select Benghazi Committee to investigate the tragic events in Benghazi, Libya. In Congress, Mike has focused on freeing private enterprise to succeed as well as defending our individual Constitutional rights. Mike has been at the center of debates regarding fiscal responsibility and halting regulatory overreach, particularly with respect to production agriculture, and reducing the imposition of burdens on entrepreneurs and small businesses. Mike and his wife Susan have been active leaders in the community and are both involved in many activities in support of Susan’s alma mater, Wichita State University.

Not on this FR site, you don't. Maybe on some other website, but here most FReepers understand tongue-in-cheek responses.

But if you every do need a sarcasm alert, here's one I made up that works great for getting the point across.

What we need is an inquisition to burn its way through *all* of our federal institutions... and break all the federal employee’s unions.

Do not abolish the CIA. Just get rid of John Brennan. He is just a goof who never should have been approved for that position.

Agree. I wonder if ANYBODY can cite ANYTHING the CIA has ever handled that turned out good.

I suppose some would say finding Osama. But, did they or does credit belong to another agency OR did some peasant just drop a trash phone text on his location?

” did they “

The CIA did not. They wanted to play Eye-Spy and keep watching him for more information while he and his henchmen were murdering people.

What is needed is reduction. Cia is just one of 20 something intelligence agencies in the country.

What needs to be done is to paint them as they are-The National Socialist Democrat Party of America.

I did it in a op ed a few years ago in a local newspaper and the democrats all sounded like gut shot cats in a bar yard.
