That white skin thing is a real problem. There is NO PLACE for a white man at the head of the democrat party.
But, what about a white woman? Not Hillary, of course, but a charismatic, attractive white woman?
Checks a lot of liberal boxes, and blacks are OK with white chicks, too.
People always say stuff like that once somebody from a minority group gets elected, but it doesn't bear out.
If there are enough candidates in the race, they divide the vote between them and somebody who can exploit the divisions comes out on top, even a White guy (Garcetti in LA, de Blasio in NYC, Emanuel in Chi).
That said, the candidate next time will probably be Black or a woman (or a Black woman) because the Democrat field looks so weak.
It does seem headed that way.
