We must assume the National Guard is aware of these disrupters' plans and plan to act.

One would so assume...

Except the leader of DC's National Guard has been relieved of duty effective 12:01 p.m. Friday as Trump becomes President. Who ordered him relieved and for what reason aren't reported as of yet.

Excellent! I’m sure he was relieved for very good reason. I doubt we have more Intel and info than Trump.

This is the purpose of the post; suspecting that General Errol... knew about these plans and had taken no counter-measures. Or worse, giving them the thumbs up.

He wasn’t relieved of duty. He resigned. He sent his resignation letter to Trump and he accepted. It is a common practice for the DC NG commander to submit a letter of resignation every presidential election cycle. It’s up to the incoming CINC to accept or reject the letter. Trump accepted the letter.
