"One has to wonder how this ends. Or do they? When first amendment rights of one bars the first amendment rights of another"

will be an unpermitted march

The group's rights end with an unpermitted march. When they block the street, their rights end again. When they cause a public disturbance - no rights. The first word out of their mouths to harm Pence - no rights. The first scratch on his car or stone thrown - zip, zero, nada rights. Throw them and their pajamas in jail and lose the key.

That would be brutal and highly effective mockery.

If you are not there, watch what happens. Learn whatever happens; it will be useful one day.

The government is saying there are “no credible security threats” even as disruptors openly announce their plans to interfere with the inauguration. This just gets crazier and crazier.

These will not be snowflakes or pajama boys (100-150 lbs.)
Think savages of Ferguson-BLM’rs (200-300lbs)

This is DC, not Madison. There will be some local hard-core rabble rousers and others that are bussing over. Baltimore is just a stones throw a way <-pun!

Fire hoses? Too much work. Actually, Special Forces and martial arts guys can inflict a lot of damage while exposing very little of their “technique” to the cameras.

In your dreams these angry ones will be babies to toss in the crib.

These protesters live with drugs and contraband in their cribs.

How’s this for protection, the 5,000 national guard troops are to be unarmed. Incredible.

At least they should be armed with Cattle Prods. That would help the disrupters "Move along" ;-)

Fire hoses at full pressure would be my first choice.

Naaah, the leftists would love that. They're deluded enough to think getting hosed would make them the equivalent of civil rights heroes in Selma.

Instead of hoses, how about a riot-control device that emits painful blasts of noise. I remember seeing this used somewhere to good effect --it quickly disperses the ruffians without doing permanent damage. As long as the National Guard has good earplugs in supply.

Riot control weapons like noise, tear gas, pepper spray will also affect the innocent people in the crowd, and surrounding areas. It should be something that can be aimed at the disruptors.

I wish that they would turn us loose on them for about 20 minutes. I would not mind mixing it up with them without the cops being there to protect them.

That is why they are running amok. We have no Mac Aurthur's to keep them in check.

He wasn’t relieved of duty. He resigned. He sent his resignation letter to Trump and he accepted. It is a common practice for the DC NG commander to submit a letter of resignation every presidential election cycle. It’s up to the incoming CINC to accept or reject the letter. Trump accepted the letter.
