In an exclusive interview with NBC News' "Meet the Press," Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) said he does not believe Donald Trump is a "legitimate president," citing Russian interference in last year's election.

Asked whether he would try to forge a relationship with the president-elect, Lewis said that he believes in forgiveness, but added, "it's going to be very difficult. I don't see this president-elect as a legitimate president."

When pressed to explain why, he cited allegations of Russian hacks during the campaign that lead to the release of internal documents from the Democratic National Committee, and Hillary Clinton's campaign co-chairman, John Podesta.

But the leaks showed that Hillary cheated. The last thing these people want is a full investigation of voter fraud in this country. Don’t throw me in that briar patch.

Typical - skip right over the contents of the internal documents and carp on how hey came to be released.
Russians, disgruntled intelligence operative, disgruntled insider - WHO CARES!

And that is what all this is about, and why we have to throw this crap right back in their faces, every chance and every place we can. That means getting on Facebook and rebutting your liberal relatives with a calm presentation of facts. That means getting on comments sections of newspapers and doing the same. It is no longer enough to be back here on good ol' Free Republic. This has to be taken to the digital streets, because that is where the liberal thugs are roaming.

This slobbering lunatic doesn’t think Trump is a legitimate president?

Well, we’re even then. His boy was illegitimate when he was born, and he has stayed illegitimate at everything he has set his hand to.

Did an elected Republican House or Senate member EVER say that about Obama? If not, could you imagine the furor?

On another note, they never hacked the election results. If Russia was the one who got those emails, Hillary lost because of the content of them. They content was their own.

NBC needs to hire some proofreaders.

Once Trump is sworn in, he’s the President. Accept it or get out of the way.

Isn’t legitimacy a culturally appropriated concept?

And that is exactly why the Liberal Democrat Broadcast Monopoly has been pushing this meme. There are millions of stupid, ignorant fools like him who will believe this crap, and as a result the Media powers think they can effectively undermine this President's authority.

This is but another reason why a Federal HAMMER needs to smash this influence racket that we have come to know as the media. They collude to tamper with government, and they most especially collude in tampering with the elections that select our government.

We need to be taking sledgehammers to their kneecaps. (figuratively) We need to be crippling their ability to spread propaganda with any instrument of power we can bring to bear against them.

Trump had nothing to do with that and it wouldn’t have affected the outcome.

She campaigned to sparse crowds and went to lavish parties to get the big money.

She never got granular and went belly button to belly button with the people who should have voted for her.

Trump was everywhere and campaigned on promises with enthusiasm.

She was a bitter product, Trump was a better product.

These leaks were not manufactured, salacious fiction, designed to take down a candidate. These ‘leaks’ were the evidence of just how low-down, dirty and rotten YOUR comrades really are John....how you all behave behind your closed doors....all laid out for those Americans, interested enough to take notice, to read and to consider. I don’t consider your opinion legitimate.
