A California GOP lawmaker is challenging the hiring of former U.S. Attorney Eric Holder to fight the Trump administration, saying it may violate the California Constitution.

Assemblyman Kevin Kiley has asked the California Attorney General’s office to investigate whether legislative Democrats ran afoul of the law by retaining Mr. Holder and his law firm, Covington & Burling, for $25,000 per month to do a job that can be performed by state employees.

When did Holder ever care about the Law?

or fair voting?

or the whites attacked at the polls by his Black Panthers?

or the whites raped and murdered by his agents?

And this will stop the cultural marxists? Since when do they care about laws except to use them against their political opponents?

As if that mattered one whit. He will never get any court to agree with him. Even if he did the 11th circus would quash it.

California has become essentially a fascist city-state with the Rat bastard Party holding ALL of the executive offices and super majorities in both legislative houses, not to mention a fairly corrupt court system including the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that will rubber-stamp all of California’s recently passed unConstitutional “laws”.

Well, $25,000/month is a bunch of money.
Is that just the retainer?
What triggers exceeding the base amount?

Yea, that is really a joke. The CA AG cares nothing about the law, only support for liberal, progressive, Leftist policies and ideas.

California is now a one-party state. The legislature has super majorities in both the senate and assembly. The Governor is hard core liberal, as is the Lt. Governor. Their support for open borders, sanctuary cities and allowing anyone to vote shows solid disdain for the US Constitution.

There were zero Republicans running for statewide office and no GOP candidates in nine of California’s congressional districts. At the state level, Investor’s Business Daily reports, six districts had no Republicans for the state senate and 16 districts had no Republicans for the state assembly.

What is clear is that California (where I was born and raised) has passed the point of no return and any hope for a favorable place to raise children or comfortable retirement for those who are tethered there by family or professional ties are dwindling quickly.
