We just had one Tuesday night.
It was 28 and raining after a prolonged COLD snap.
My windshield was icing up as I was driving. I had to put the defroster on full blast to warm it up and melt it.
And no, I am not one of those idiots who goes out in it. I was out when it started and had to get home and had to drive into it to get there. It started several hours earlier than expected.
Fortunately, no damage which surprised me as it was VERY, EXCEEDINGLY windy
You’re fortunate you didn’t experience a flash freeze on the road. It happens sometimes. One minute, just wet, maybe a few icicles on the mirrors or something, then boom all heck breaks loose.
